We were promised AI would bring answers, but it brought a lot more questions.
I help you explore these questions out loud, with me and with each other. Career and leadership coaching, a course to build your own practice, or workshops for your team.
It's four years since AI became a thing. For a technology that was supposed to change everything, surprisingly little has changed at work. Instead we're left with questions. Why are briefs and reports worse than before? Why is that email twice as long as it needs to be? Why are we measuring AI adoption in tokens spent and messages sent? Why hasn't switching tools made a difference? Will I still have a job tomorrow?
Since 2022 I've designed AI products, taught thousands of professionals to work with AI, and researched how organisations take it on. I've been in a lot of rooms where people are trying to figure this out. They come in two kinds.
In one, everyone accepts that nobody knows the answer yet. That room moves, often somewhere nobody expected.
In the other, everyone feels they should already have the answer. That room goes round in circles.
My job is to get you into the first room.
What holds AI adoption back isn't a lack of skills. It's an inability to sit with the hard questions. And we all have them.
The questions we're all holding
Who am I now?
When AI starts doing the work you were known for, the question underneath is harder than which tool to learn. What are you for now? And who can you say that to?
In 1:1 coaching you bring the question as it is, half-formed and a bit uncomfortable. We work out what you want to keep, what you're ready to let go of, and what you'll do on Monday.
You come away knowing what you bring, and with room to keep bringing it.
What does this mean for me? Let's explore it together.
How do I adapt how I work?
Every week there's a new model and a new feature you're supposed to be using. Keeping up feels like a job in itself, and it still doesn't add up to a way of working.
The course is six weeks with a small group, starting 2 November. You build your own way of working with AI. There's no prompt library. We share what's working, what isn't, and what we're unsure about, and we learn from each other.
You come away knowing when AI helps and when to do it yourself. You'll have built your own toolkit of skills, have a sharpened mindset, and more agency and judgement in how and when you use AI.
What does this mean for how I work? Let's explore it together.
How do we work together, with AI?
Somewhere above you, someone said "I want that". Now there's a mandate, a dashboard counting messages sent, and a team that's gone quiet.
AI-Leadership coaching helps you lead without pretending to have the answers. Sometimes we talk about yourself and your goals. Sometimes I coach you to run interventions with your team. Sometimes, if necessary, I'm in the room with you.
Once the awkward questions are on the table and your team shares what's working and where they "wasted" hours in a Copilot chat, a new way of working starts to emerge. Value is unlocked not by shaving off a few minutes of task time, but by discovering what wasn't possible to do before.
You end up with a team that builds its own workflows, knows when not to use AI, and can tell which AI solutions are worth buying.
What does this mean for my team? Let's explore it together.

What changes
Once the questions are out in the open, things start to move.
You can tell which changes matter to your work and which are noise. A good sales page no longer gets an automatic yes. Often your team can build something better itself.
Your people can build their own workflows, change them as the work changes, and stop relying on outside help to keep them running.
And the thinking stays yours. The human in the loop is there for their judgement. That only works if they're still invested in the work, and understand what they're signing off.
In the end, it comes down to confidence: as individuals, as leaders, and as teams, in how, why, and where AI belongs in your work.
Not sure where you fit?
You don't need to know which of these you need. Most people don't.
Book 25 minutes and bring the question as it is. We'll work out together whether it's coaching, the course, your team, or none of these. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so.
